Bio
Terrell George has been coaching consecutively for 15 years, and has been with Trillium Academy since 2015.
In 2019, he was named Head Varsity Basketball Coach, and brought home the Wildcat’s first ever MMAC Black Division Conference Championship during the 2019-2020 season. Terrell was also recognized as Coach of the Year by Trillium Academy's Athletic Department for the 2019-2020 school year. Since then the Varsity Basketball team has won two additional MMAC Division Championships and earned the school's first-ever District Championship!
He also served as the Head Middle School Basketball Coach at Paul Robeson Malcolm X Academy, where much success had taken place under his leadership. In the ten years he was with the Paul Robeson middle school program, his teams won six city championships; four years in a row with the boys, and two championships with the girls.
Prior to coaching middle school, Terrell coached at Detroit Central High School and Southeastern High School.
He served as Trillium's Head Varsity Boys Basketball Assistant Coach (2015-2018), helping the program grow tremendously. |
